Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREM) capture how patients experience the care process – for example whether they were informed clearly, treated with respect and involved in decisions. Unlike satisfaction questions, PREM focus on concrete, observable aspects of care and thus provide actionable insights for quality management in practices and clinics.
