Single sign-on — one click, no new password
Sign in to DataLion with Google or Microsoft — and register the same way, straight from the login or signup page. Fewer passwords, faster onboarding, and central control by your administrator.
With single sign-on you log in to DataLion with your Google or Microsoft account — and register the same way, straight from the login or signup page. An existing account is simply logged in; an unknown email registers a new account when registration is enabled. The SSO buttons appear once your administrator has enabled the provider.

One click for login and registration
Both the login and the signup page carry a button for Google and Microsoft. One click is enough: your provider confirms your identity and DataLion handles the rest.
An existing account is simply logged in. An unknown email registers a new account automatically — provided registration is enabled. No extra password, no separate form.

Secure OAuth flow, minimal data requested
Sign-in runs through a secure, provider-specific OAuth callback (path-based). That keeps the flow for Google and Microsoft cleanly separated and easy to reason about.
Sign-in with Google deliberately requests only minimal scopes — openid and email. DataLion asks for no sensitive or restricted Google data, so it triggers no Google CASA security assessment.

Enablement and provisioning under control
SSO is not on by default: the buttons appear only once your administrator enables the relevant provider (Google or Microsoft). So you stay in control of how your team signs in.
On multi-tenant installs, the provider-verified email provisions an active workspace automatically — with no confirmation email — and you are signed in as soon as setup completes. On single-tenant installs the account is created or logged in directly.
